Objectives

• To directly examine the effects and effectiveness of contemporary of Drug Policy in promoting health; human rights based values and prosperity for Drug Using Populations.
• By analyzing the evolution of drug use in society. to provide descriptive and empirical information about the relationship between drug use and the human condition.
• To explore, the causal relationship between drug use versus social degradation and questions the rationality and the efficacy of policies that govern contemporary society that should exist to enhance the human condition in  the context of social wellbeing.
• To clearly demonstrate how bad policies of the “War on Drugs” impact unjustly on the communities we work alongside, entrenching them further poverty and poor health and to illustrate alternatives to support effective and long-term solutions to addressing Drug Use .
